For Dave and Jim,
I have been studying physical training, both academically and in the layman's market, talking to coaches and athletes, and training myself and others for over 14 years, and I just want to say that the EliteFTS Basic Training Manual is perhaps the most practical text on program design that I have ever seen.
I just want to say congratulations and thank you on putting together such a great product. It appears that you basically took the old Eight Keys articles, added more theory back in to facilitate understanding, increased the practicality, added in Jim's healthy dose of common sense and wit, added in more of Dave's motivational-speak-that-actually-works, took out what was not needed, added more of what was...and came up with a helluva training manual.
You guys kick ass. Now excuse me, because my squat sucks ("when you become satisfied, you become obsolete" - Dave Tate) and I need to go train.
Evan
This comment is for Jim Wendler....
I purchased the EFS Basic Training e-book this morning as soon as I saw it was available. I then managed to read it through the afternoon instead of doing any of the work I was supposed to do.
I just want to say that while I didn't get any work done, the book was excellent. I'm a week out from a meet, feeling a bit nervous and beat up. After reading the book, I can feel the anticipation building like it should be. I'm going to be setting PR's this weekend. And then we are hitting the gym hard again on the road to more PR's and that ELITE total....
Thanks. I appreciate it.
